A Contemporary Dream - Part 4: Water Play!

A constant among the Walt Disney World Resort hotels is the jaw-dropping theming of the hotel pools. The Contemporary Resort had two pool areas that kept us amused. The first pool area is right outside of the main building. We made our way there and caught a few fun sights along the way. Sierra and I shared these with our teddy bears, Bluebeary and Duffy...

Sierra then parked it on a lounge chair, as she is not one to partake in public swimming... EVER!
Adjacent to the main pool area, we found a magnificent splash zone. Not quite as massive as the one at Animal Kingdom Lodge, but impressive in its own right...

Then, we encountered this little pool-goer hiding under a chair....
Gino and Tony had a splashing good time in the main pool, with its slide and fountains...

The pool at Bay Lake Tower was an epic fail. Aside from the highlight of a duck jumping in for a quick swim, there was nothing enjoyable about our experience here. It was exceptionally crowded. I, for one, do NOT like being unable to even move in a swimming pool. I do, however, like the theming of this pool, as well as Bay Lake Tower itself. Looking forward to staying there when we sign up for Disney Vacation Club.

Then, of course, there is one of our favorite, regular activities. Once again, I give you the fantastic sights of boating on Bay Lake!
