Magic Kingdom - Liberty Square - Liberty Tree Tavern

Liberty Tree Tavern is a table service restaurant offering lunch and dinner options at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. It is located in the center of Liberty Square. Reservations are recommended, and they do participate in the Disney Dining Plan. This location is themed around 18th century Colonial America. Ample seating is available in six rooms themed in honor of six prominent historical figures.

Decorated in a rustic combination of wood and brick, the Liberty Tree Tavern is authentically enhanced by period accents and an inviting atmosphere. Colonial Williamsburg is well represented in the service, environment, and menu. Six individually themed rooms each honor a figure in early American history, including: George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross, Thomas Jefferson, John Paul Jones, and Paul Revere.

The lunch menu at Liberty Tree Tavern offers a variety of traditional early New England favorites including: seafood, salads, soups, pot roast, pasta, turkey, and sandwiches. Meals will run around $15-$20 per adult guest (before drink or dessert), $9 for kids' meals. Dinner at Liberty Tree switches gears a bit, serving an all-you-care-to-eat, traditional Thanksgiving-style spread. Turkey, beef, and pork options are served with a range of sides, desserts, and drinks. Price for dinner will be about $32 for adults and $15 for children.

*TOP PICK - The Liberty Tree's New England Pot Roast is absolutely the star of the show. Just like mom used to make, you'll receive a hearty portion of down-home comfort in the form of YUM! It's described on the menu as "Braised beef in a Cabernet wine and mushroom sauce". If that doesn't do it for ya, maybe this will... even the mashed potatoes are something to write home about. $19 on the lunch menu, and a generous enough serving that it actually takes some of the cringe out of the cost!
