CIRQUE DE LA SYMPHONIE: CIRQUE GOES TO THE CINEMA BRINGS ACROBATS, JUGGLERS AND AERIAL FLYERS SOARING HIGH ABOVE THE ORLANDO PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

Limited tickets remain to both performances at 2 and 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 3

(Thursday, January 25, Orlando, Fla.) – Cirque de la Symphonie returns with an all-new program of awe-inspiring feats of power and beauty. Paired with the music from blockbuster movie classics like Star Wars, Harry Potter, Mission Impossible, Gladiator, and more, this thrill ride includes the spectacle of acrobats, jugglers and aerial flyers soaring high above the heads of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.  Two concerts take place on Saturday, February 3 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Bob Carr Theater, located at 401 West Livingston Street, Orlando, FL. 32801.

Yaniv Segal, conductor

“Some of the most memorable moments in art happen when great music is combined with another performing art, such as dance, theater or film. Each art form serves to support and elevate the other; think of the combined power of the Imperial March from Star Wars for example,” said Segal.

The Accommodations Sponsor for this concert is DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Downtown and the Artist Sponsor is Merrill Lynch. The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra is supported by United Arts of Central Florida, host of OrlandoAtPlay.com and UAArtsEd.com. This project is funded in part by Orange County Government through the Arts & Cultural Affairs Program, and sponsored in part by the Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture and the State of Florida.

Single tickets are available starting at $23 and can be purchased online at orlandophil.org, by calling 407.770.0071, or in person at the Box Office, located at The Plaza Live (425 N. Bumby Avenue, Orlando). The Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Ticket prices subject to change.)
