Zoo Boo Bash is brewing at Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens

SANFORD, Fla., September 20, 2018 - Ghosts, goblins and ghouls planning on spooking their way through Sanford can mark their calendars to stop by the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens for their annual Halloween event presented by Orlando Health.

"We are excited to be able to bring this wildly popular event back for two weekends this year." said Megan Shutts, the Zoo's Events Manager. "Strong partnerships with organizations like Orlando Health, allow the Zoo to offer a safe environment for families with kids of any age to enjoy these fun events."
Treat stations, a daily costume contest, an interactive bubble show, pumpkin bowling, crafts, activities, animal enrichment and more can be found throughout the Zoo each day.

The event will take place the last two weekends in October, 20-21 and 27-28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All activities are included with Zoo admission; annual pass holders should note this is a blackout date. Special discounted event admission for annual pass holders will be $5 per individual named on their valid annual pass card. Annual pass holders who wish to visit the Zoo, but do not want to pay event admission, are welcome to visit after the event ends at 3 p.m.

Zoo general admission tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.centralfloridazoo.org.

Treat station sponsorships and vendor opportunities are still available for individuals, local businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Interested parties should contact events manager Megan Shutts at megans@centralfloridazoo.org or 407-323-4450 ext. 103 for more information.
