Reunion Resort & Golf Club Bids Farewell to Summer with First-Ever “End of Summer Celebration”

ORLANDO, Fla. (July 29, 2019) – Sadly, summer must come to an end, but not without one last big hurrah at Reunion Resort & Golf Club. The 2,300-acre luxury resort is hosting its first-ever End of Summer Celebration, August 9-11, with a variety of fun-filled, family-friendly activities for resort guests and locals alike to enjoy throughout the weekend. With friendly competition, fun surprises, a musical bash and much more, the event will showcase many of the resort’s most popular offerings, including championship golf, footgolf, pickleball, tennis, dining and water park. Resort guests, members and visitors will have the opportunity to participate in the following event activities throughout the weekend:
  • Summer Classic Golf Tournament – Beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, foursomes will hit the greens of the Palmer Course for a tournament scramble. Prizes will be awarded to the four closest to the pin and one closest to the line. $35 for resort guests and local visitors; members complimentary.
  • Tennis – Start Saturday morning with a fun, competitive, round-robin game of tennis. Reunion Resort will supply drinks and directions while players supply the shots and laughter. $15 per player; members complimentary.
  • Family Scavenger Hunt – Explore Reunion Resort throughout the day on Saturday like never before and find fun surprises along the way on this walking scavenger hunt. $15 per family.
  • Pickleball Event – Hit the courts at 3 p.m. on Saturday and learn all about the game of pickleball and see why it is the fastest-growing sport in the country. $15 per player; members complimentary.
  • FootGolf – The competition is on in this head-to-head, competitive four-person game from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on August 10. Prizes will be awarded for the four longest kicks. $15 per guest; members complimentary.
  • End of Summer Celebration Bash – Enjoy a summer evening dancing to the beats of Audio Exchange at The Cove at Seven Eagles from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday. Complimentary admission. Food and beverage concessions available.
  • Water Park – On Sunday, August 11, from 12 to 5 p.m. resort guests and visitors can enjoy water park entry and fun activities such a Cannon Ball Contest, Hula Hoop Contest, Relay Races, Water Relays, and Family Tug-O-War Competitions, all to the sounds of a Steel Drum Player. Space is limited and visitors must register prior to admission; entry for members and resort guests is included and registration is not required.
