OLE RED ORLANDO PRESENTS “BEER ‘ROUND HERE DINNER” IN COLLABORATION WITH CROOKED CAN BREWING COMPANY

Special five-course dinner with beer pairings to celebrate American Beer Day on October 27
Event will feature live music by Mighty Swell

Orlando, FLA. – Ole Red Orlando is set to host a “Beer ‘Round Here Dinner” in collaboration with Crooked Can Brewing Company on Thursday, October 29th at 6:30 p.m. Celebrating American Beer Day, the special evening will feature five courses of elevated, Southern-inspired Floridian cuisine by executive chef Mark Boor. Each course will be expertly paired with a craft beer selection from one of Florida’s top breweries, Crooked Can Brewing Company. The celebration will also feature live music from popular country trio, Mighty Swell.
 
The event will take place on Thursday, October 29th, beginning with a reception at 6 p.m. followed by a seated dinner from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This exclusive one-time only menu pairing will include:

  • Compressed watermelon canape with pork rind, whipped goat cheese, Cajun caviar and pickled watermelon rind Amuse-bouche
  • Apalachicola oyster cornmeal dusted + duck fat fried, peppadew chow-chow and Zellwood corn puree Course One paired with Cloud Chaser Hefeweizen 5.3% ABV
  • Gator eggroll smoked gator wing, boudin, mustard greens and green tomato aioli Course Two paired with McSwagger’s Own Amber Ale 6.0% ABV
  • Shrimp & Grits Crawfish + Creole trinity Ansol Mills blue corn grit cake, New Orleans BBQ, pickled okra and squid ink tuile Course Three paired with High Stepper IPA 7% ABV
  • Wild boar spareribs with brussels sprouts hot slaw, pork belly lardon, stewed beans, brown butter cornbread crumbs and maple bourbon glaze Course Four paired with Burgermeister Oktoberfest 6.2% ABV
  • Chocolate bourbon pecan torte with candied bacon + Axum coffee chocolate stout ice cream Dessert paired with Axum Coffee Chocolate Stout 6% ABV

A “Top 20 Chef of Central Florida,” executive chef Mark Boor boasts over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most notably in the central Florida area, he was a Featured Guest Chef at Epcot Food & Wine Festival from 2012 to 2016.
