Orlando’s Favorite Tavern Puts a Twist on Chef-Driven Fare with New Seasonal Items
 
ORLANDO, Fla. (April 29, 2019) – Marlow’s Tavern executive chef, CEO and co-founder John Metz and his team have been experimenting in the kitchen to make sure guests leave with a little spring in their step and in their bellies.
 
“I feel fairly certain a large percentage of our guests already know what they’re ordering before they arrive,” Metz says. “We want to tempt them with fresh, new menu items that showcase seasonal ingredients. These new dishes may even result in our guests finding a new favorite!”

ORLANDO, Fla. (Sept. 12, 2018) - The annual fall celebration at Marlow’s Tavern features iconic Florida-grown ingredients and unparalleled creativity in the kitchen, along with friendly competition at all Marlow’s Orlando neighborhood gathering spots now through Oct. 15.
 
Marlow’s Tavern executive chef, CEO and co-founder John C. Metz has issued an “Iron Chef” challenge to the tavern chefs and bartenders to use three signature Florida-grown ingredients as the starting point for a featured entrée, starter, dessert or cocktail. The ingredients – cheese, rice and honey - come from Cypress Pointe Creamery, Congaree and Penn Farm and Mills and My Sweetest Honey.

MARLOW’S TAVERN OVIEDO SETS OPENING DATE FOR JANUARY 23


ORLANDO, Fla. (January 10, 2018) – The local ownership team at Marlow’s Tavern sets the opening date for its newest restaurant location in Oviedo for January 23. The 3,587 sq. ft. tavern is conveniently located at Oviedo on the Park at the intersection of Mitchell Hammock Road and City Walk Lane.
 
The tavern will offer classic American fare in a comfortable and unique atmosphere for guests to create memorable experiences, enjoy chef-driven food and handcrafted cocktails. The restaurant is warm and inviting with large leather booths and communal tables seating 116 guests in the tavern, plus 76 seats on the all-weather, covered patio.

REVIEW: Marlow's Tavern Summer Menu Highlights

Marlow's Tavern has launched a fresh new summer menu featuring creatively trendy new dinner and drink offerings, as well as the decadent "sweet stuff" menu. Grilled salmon or chicken, roast chicken panini, tuna salad, and Marlow's Famous Hummus accompanied by refreshing side items like mint barley risotto,  orange and radish slaw with citrus vinaigrette, roasted fingerling potato, and grilled, toasty pita points are all so very tempting, but I rarely get the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy dessert because I have yet to locate a second stomach. This time around, I'm taking full advantage of being an adult. I'm breaking the rules and going straight to dessert - spoiling my dinner completely - because the "sweet stuff" genuinely warrants a spotlight of its own.
