$15 Million Bar, Restaurant and Music Venue Set to Open Spring of 2020

This new location is expected to open in the first half of 2020, and construction is slated to begin in early 2019. September Cake Sales at TooJay’s Take a Slice Out of Hunger

During Hunger Action Month, one dollar from every slice of cake sold will be donated to Feeding Florida

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (September 4, 2018) – Enjoying a slice of cake from TooJay’s famous bakery is especially sweet in September when one dollar from every slice of cake sold is donated to Feeding Florida during Hunger Action Month. 
TooJay’s launched its Too+You partnership with Feeding Florida in September 2017 and since then has raised and donated $18,638 to end food insecurity in Florida. A statewide network of Feeding America food banks, Feeding Florida provides a healthy, adequate and consistent food supply to those in need. Every dollar donated provides 11 meals through the Feeding Florida network.
Guests also can conveniently make donations by rounding up their checks in September. TooJay’s will donate up to $10,000 during the month-long campaign.

Now Accepting Entries for Hip Sip Competition and Rapid Fire Challenge- Deadlines Approaching
ORLANDO, FL, August 1, 2018 - The 2018 Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show will be offering two exciting competitions for chefs and bartenders to enter and have the chance to win $1,000, bragging rights and gain exposure to over 100 media outlets as well as 8,000 industry peers. Both competitions, Hip Sip: Battle of the Modern Bartender  and The Rapid Fire Challenge: Chicken, Honey and Beer Edition are looking for leading bartenders and chefs to compete at the Expo taking place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, September 6-8, 2018. Entries for both events can be sent to Patricia Copela at Act fast: the deadline for the Rapid Fire Challenge is Friday, August 10th and the deadline for the Hip Sip Competition is Friday, August 17th.

The inaugural Hip Sip: Battle of the Modern Bartender is open to any bartender currently working in the bar, restaurant or spirits industry. To enter, bartenders must submit recipes that are expressed in ounces, drops, or dashes and scaled for a single serving. No frozen drinks are permitted in this competition. Applicants must also attach a video submission, no longer than 1-2 minutes, and a photo of the cocktail and recipe is required. Bartenders will be judged based on creativity, use of product, taste, presentation and flair. The nine finalists chosen will be announced on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 and must be available to compete on Thursday, September 6 from 3:30 - 5:00 pm at the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show. The bartenders will battle in their respective spirit category and the three winners of those rounds will advance into a sudden death round for the opportunity to be crowned the overall winner.  For more information about Hip Sip: Battle of the Modern Bartender, visit

Employee’s Sandwich Creation Makes it onto TooJay’s Menu for National Sandwich Month

Florida’ Favorite Deli Celebrates with LTO Sandwiches

WEST PALM BEACH (July 31, 2018) – No dish is more versatile than the sandwich and no restaurant does sandwiches better than TooJay’s. Serving 1.5 million sandwiches a year at its 28 restaurants throughout Florida, the New York-style deli is celebrating National Sandwich Month by adding a tempting new sandwich created by an employee and two equally irresistible sandwiches, all available through September 16.

In preparation for the annual August tribute to sandwiches, TooJay’s held its first-ever recipe contest, challenging its more than 1,200 employees to create a great new sandwich for the menu. The winning Warm Antipasto Sandwich was created by Vernon H., a cook with TooJay’s for the past 19 years from the Lake Mary restaurant. The flavorful combination of ham, salami, provolone cheese, pepperoncini, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers and Greek olives is baked in crusty French bread and topped with melted provolone and balsamic glaze, served with coleslaw and a dill pickle. The generously sized sandwich is also available as a salad starter.
