LEGOLAND® Florida Resort Kicks Off Awe-Summer Event Series with Independence Day Celebration Red, White and Boom

Patriotic Celebration Features 3-D Fireworks, Themed Experiences and New Summer Savings

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (June 26, 2019) – For three consecutive nights (July 4-6) LEGOLAND® Florida Resort will light the night sky with colorful fireworks as the park built for kids celebrates Independence Day with a special summer event, Red, White & Boom.

As part of the Awe-summer event series at LEGOLAND Florida, Red, White and Boom will provide guests the opportunity to start their 4th of July celebration with a fun day at the park and end it with a night of vibrant fireworks booming over beautiful Lake Eloise. Also part of the summer celebration, guests can help create a giant U.S. flag that’ll be created from thousands of LEGO bricks.

FLORIDA - Port Canaveral to Host Fireworks Display Tuesday, July 3rd

Parking and new traffic plan emphasizes safety and organized exit

Port Canaveral, FL – June 29, 2018 – For the fourth year in a row, Port Canaveral will host the Fireworks Before the Fireworks, one of the area’s most popular Fourth of July events with fireworks and family-centered festivities on the lawn of the Exploration Tower at Port Canaveral. Events scheduled from 5 to 10 PM feature a family fun “street fair” with food, drinks, live music, face painting and other activities for kids provided by local vendors and businesses. The fireworks display will begin shortly after sunset. At 6:00 PM, the Naval Ordnance Test Unit (NOTU) will lead an opening ceremony with the Presentation of Colors and the National Anthem.  Admission is free, and all guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. 

VIP viewing tickets for the Exploration Tower is $20.00 if purchased in advance. Go to to sign up.

Visitors to the Cove restaurants can utilize the free parking lot located on Mullet Road.

This Fourth of July, the Science Center is combining history and science in a series of activities that bring out the best of this patriotic holiday!

LEGOLAND® Florida Resort to Celebrate Independence Day With Biggest Fireworks Display of the Year

Red, White & Boom Offers an Exclusive LEGO® Build Activity, Patriotic Treats and More

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (June 26, 2018) – LEGOLAND® Florida Resort is set to launch its largest fireworks display of the year during Red, White & Boom. The annual Independence Day celebration features a day full of fun activities including a high-energy kid dance party and a giant LEGO flag build.

On July 4, an all-American array of treats join the theme park’s menu including a firecracker funnel cake dusted with popping candy, a dessert pizza complete with blueberries, icing and streusel crumbles and a celebratory churro covered in red or blue cinnamon topping.

When the sun goes down, guests are encouraged to wear special viewing glasses and look to the sky above Lake Eloise as it illuminates with LEGO bricks during a patriotic fireworks show. Red, White & Boom will take place from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and is included with park admission.

NEW for summer 2018

LEGOLAND Florida Resort also announced a brand new, free-of-charge, building activity. For a limited-time this summer, Build-A-Minilander will invite theme park guests to help build residents of MINILAND USA. Located at the heart of the kid-centric theme park, MINILAND USA contains more than 32 million LEGO bricks and scenes from coast to coast all the way to a galaxy far, far away! This building opportunity will be held inside Heartlake Hall from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.  “Minilanders” will later be placed within the LEGO cities of MINILAND USA by the resort’s Master Model Builders.

ORLANDO, Fla. (June 14, 2018) – The Fourth of July is brighter than ever at SeaWorld Orlando’s Electric Ocean. The night sky will light up with fireworks, pyrotechnics and lasers during a one-of-a-kind, patriotic finale to “Ignite,” SeaWorld’s end-of-day spectacle.

The Independence Day firework display will begin at 9:30 p.m. and the best viewing area is from the park’s Bayside Stadium. Reserved seating packages for Electric Ocean and the 4th of July firework display are available for purchase at the park and online in advance. Pricing starts at $49 per person ages 3 and up.

Guests can also experience the rest of what SeaWorld’s Electric Ocean has to offer. The popular evening event brings longer park hours and allows guests to voyage into an exotic underwater world filled with dazzling lights, electrifying dance music and a brilliant evening energy that sparks as the sun sets. Electric Ocean also features exciting nighttime shows, returning summer classics and a plethora of new food and drink options throughout the park.
